We contribute to those in our local community, and reach out globally.  Our prayers and our actions begin in worship and continue to be expressed throughout the week in many ways.  Giving and receiving are complimentary aspects of God’s creating energy. We reach out to those in need knowing that each one is God’s beloved child.

This congregation is connected to the community in many and dynamic ways.  A Community Garden in the parsonage yard provides fresh vegetables distributed to people in the area. Rev. Barnes is a member of the Newburgh Area Interfaith Council, and as such brings to our attention opportunities to act for justice in our local area.
